IT IS A CRY
It is a cry,
Pain affliction
Somber if not resentment
Heartbroken and dumped
Poverty looming like does floods
It is a cry,
I come from the ghetto
I a go-getter they call me
I'm used to dirt although it is bad
I can't complain about the food, it is our norm
It is a cry,
I come from the interior area
Backwater they call it
I'm not here to complain
I just request for education, not internet
I don't understand about electricity
I just crave to be an engineer
It is a cry,
The world at the verge of collapsing
Coronavirus raiding an alarm
Quarantine the hit song
Social distancing the remedy
Never worried about covid, I cry for humanity
It is a cry,
Pain and affliction is inevitable
Living in the ghetto is never a choice
Being born in an interior area is never a problem
The world collapsing is unforeseen
It is a cry,
But what about humanity?
Where is humanity?
Will you serve us with humanity?
Why not?
It is a cry,
We can't afford a meal or a cup of water
All we are asking is never food or shelter
We just crave for that humanity
Humanity will shelter and feed us
It is tears of affliction and not joy
