This masterpiece talks about Sammy Otieno Militia's success as Mount Kenya University Student's Association chairperson without any direct connection to him nor any borrowed information from him.
It's therefore based on direct observation and research.(MKUSA 2019/2020).
Mount Kenya University is one of the fast growing best private Universities in East and Central Africa(ECA) and globally due its international standards and branches in different countries.
To win hearts of comrades and finally achieve to spear head them as chairperson is note a joke.
As a concerned leader and as a writer,his achievements compelled and motivated me to write informative article that will reveal success factors behind his historical and phenomenal massive victory in MKUSA elections.
I personally met Militia one year before he decided to vie for the seat,I never knew he will vie as a chairperson.He took the bull by its horns and introduced himself as I did the same,after a short interaction,he left behind one statement,"I'm going to vie as MKUSA chairperson come 2019,I hope you will support me".
It's notwithstanding important to realize he was composed and had that passion that one day he will stand out as chairperson of such a great University.
Here are success factors to learn from H.E.Sammy Otieno Militia:
1.Determination.
Militia is a determined focused bloke who is so ambitious and sets goals ahead of time.
He planned his victory one or more years before he actually decided to vie for the seat.
His composure and the way he addresses colleague students is pretty convincing and welcoming a sense of a true leader.
Here you got to learn that victory requires determination and proper overall planning.
2.Courageous.
Militia possess and displays courage without fear.He is able to face and deal with danger without flinching.This I learnt during electioneering period when he stopped and closed presidential debate immediately after realizing that Independent electoral & boundaries commission had violeted constitutional rights in vetting various aspirants.
He came out strongly together with his team and condemned the vice without fear of contradiction and later the irregularity was fixed before election day.This shows us how courageous he is,a true picture of a determined leader.
