Bitter truth.

I never wished to talk about this, I neither wished to criticize people, but again, here I will raise my voice and hoarsely shout in this masterpiece, just a piece of art at heart.
( On the photo, one of the genge pioneers, Mejja).
A lot has been said about the music industry, we've heard enough about Kenyan music. Youths have paved their way in to the music industry, everyone is now an artist, everyone is forcing it to work out for them, have got no problem with that, where is the problem? The problem is you and me.
Have you heard about genge tone? Perhaps yes or no, allow me enlighten you, genge tone is just an extended version of the original genge. Just a group of artists from Kenya, and more precisely, from around and within Nairobi and Kenya as a country at large.
( Original genge member, Jua Kali).
The aim of this article is to talk about the content of kenyan music. I like the energy this musicians have; so vibrant and energetic, but once again, we've to revisit the content of kenyan music.
It's not a mistake to talk about sex in lyrics but it's worse when we talk about it in a naughty approach.
It's important to note that, this "sheng" shouts in a naughty way, lets ask the likes of Majja, Mandrax, Jua kali how they made it. They are the pioneers of genge, their music is enjoyable, sensational and catchy but have never heard them sing naughty content but they are still on top, in fact they're well known by kenyans.
My message; you don't need to be naughty to be known, fame is expensive, don't go for popularity, just do what you like passionately and let fame come for you.
