Mental health.

Mental health. We tend to justify and defend our loved ones even when they harass and beat us, it's unusual to cover up a slavery like; abusive marriage or relationship just because of an overrated love. You are a victim, stop defending the evil, it's time to seek psychological help. It might be an effect of past relationships making you feel inferior therefore can't let go of that which is bad or unfit for consumption, it might be past experiences; either what you witnessed from your parents or neighbors. It has always caused a long lasting impact on our minds and emotions. It might be the fear of the  unknown, you fear what is going to happen as time ticks very first but you haven't gotten  married or gotten a spouse. Beware! Keep fit and sharp. Stop defense mechanisms;Justification, submission. _Kelvin Omondi. _Voke Spencer_

What the wind told me (Photo, poem courtesy of Yelnats254). I recall it all what the wind told me about friendships and hardships it all started when he got upset and roared my nerves out just I was feeling at home in his home He said listen hear lad there's just too much energy floating in the atmosphere and should there be a day I lost hope I'd not be by a woman What the wind told me to steer clear of mixed signals and to stick to my lane lest I miss the light through my pane He taught me to see the joy through my pain and forget not the blessings in my little deeds as they are worth titles Friendships like seasons he maintained come and go for reasons hardships helps us see the bigger picture for they zoom in the prospects of tomorrow and zoom out bad vibes the wind told me _By Yelnats254_ ©2019.

POETRY-A release from passion's flames.

A RELEASE FROM PASSIONS' FLAME         (Photo, poem courtest of yelnats254). The night, so youthful and agile Two souls brought to life from the embers of love as though they hadn't existed. The nights so long the pillow so pale and the candle lamp so gloomy a picture of remorse and solitude. But she couldn't deny nor he could he too the fire consuming their souls aching to be released. longing to be alone together in this prison for a lifetime to redeem the wasted years and the precious time unaccounted. in the glow of the moon not so full in the blast of the night not so loud in the quake of the night not so earthy they put off a candle of satisfaction and affiliation. _@yelnats254_ ©2019.

Genge tone is just overrated, ask Mejja.

Bitter truth . (on the photo, hitmakers Ethicentertainment, 2019). I never wished to talk about this, I neither wished to criticize people, but again, here I will raise my voice and hoarsely shout in this masterpiece, just a piece of art at heart.      ( On the photo, one of the genge pioneers, Mejja). A lot has been said about the music industry, we've heard enough about Kenyan music. Youths have paved their way in to the music industry, everyone is now an artist, everyone is forcing it to work out for them, have got no problem with that, where is the problem? The problem is you and me. Have you heard about genge tone? Perhaps yes or no, allow me enlighten you, genge tone is just an extended version of the original genge. Just a group of artists from Kenya, and more precisely, from around and within Nairobi and Kenya as a country at large.      ( Original genge member, Jua Kali). The aim of this article is to talk about the content of kenya...

POETRY-LET HER BE.

Let her be By Kelvin Omondi  (voke Spencer) The cravings are immeasurable Human wants are insatiable The penny in hand is limited. I need that modern class crib She cries for hot chips and crips I just can't do without a Lamborghini I want her hair well plated. Here the dilemma I crave for her affection and warmth I need that mansion for shelter although she can shelter me No Lamborghini, no peace of mind No penny, she won't understand it Without her no family. It's getting hot and out of hand Let me let her go, let me satisfy my needs I will fight for that mansion, Lamborghini and penny She will come looking for me in my new family.
