My Pride.

I stand here ironing!
Sweltering in disbelief,
Unable to attest the agitation,
An agitation perpetuated by malicious,selfish and greedy individuals,
Who will fight for us?

Justice has been raped and decapitated in a day light,
Futile effort by young generation to advocate for revolution has led to their fate and ejection from the game,
Is it the game changer?

Corruption,arrested development, injustice and hatred is still affecting us greatly,
At 21st century,but we're talking language of ancient times,
Assassination and extra judicial killings is the order of the day,
Where did we go unattended?

"Good old days"
I used to see blood during the sacred Christmas celebration,once in a year.
Today I wake up in a blooded dawn,
"Grave be proud"

"Hope"
My country,my pride,
My Kenya,my love,
My love for you is unconditional,
My hope for a better kenya is unquestionable,
Kenya will rise again,
Kenya is a great Nation.

"Quest"
My heart is about to detonate,
The heartache compels me to stand and speak out,
I will raise my voice on a paper,
"Despite the odds, my country will rise again,
Kenya is a great nation" .

"Country I want"
The Kenya I love,
The Kenya I want,
Let justice and shielder be our defender.
Stop extra judicial killings,fight the killers.
"Kenya is a great nation" .

My love for my Country,
Daima mi ni mkenya.
Napenda nchi yangu kwa dhati.
